Udder Dermititis

I thought i'd share this picture of a cow we tipped up the crush this morning. This was a particulary bad one one. Were getting more dermititis in the cleft of the udders than we are on feet now. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Or any tips how to prevent/cure it?
Currently spraying with blue spray and melting lincospectin powder into the lesions. Obviously cant footbath udders but shame we cant prevent it.

Same here, digital dermatitis under control, but a few udder clefts affected.
Usually smell it in the parlour, treat with engymycin spray for a few days, although have used Bactakil as well .Bedding on deep sand. Be careful with lincospectin as it is not approved for this application.

We have been getting a lot of this but vet said through the summer it's digital and spray every milking for 3/4 days. I have been doing this and it's sorted the problem. Really clears up quickly once the bacteria or whatever is killed. Christ it stinks

Sawdust and lime on the beds. Yeh it fairly stinks when one comes into the parlour. It can make their udders go a funny shape.
You would think with all the teat sprays they get it would never get chance to grow.

What proportion of these udder cleft infections are the same bug as digital Dermatitis in feet ?

We see a fair few udder cleft infections, but haven't used a foot bath for 20 years and have only seen 3 cows with digital dermatitis in the last 4 years, in 200 cows .
