Seems you no longer have a right to appeal.

http://hsfnotes.com/litigation/2016...-the-court-of-appeal-to-apply-from-3-october/

This country is getting more like a dictatorship.
Certainly going to make it harder.Probably done to ease the burden on the courts, supposedly.Coupled with the removal of legal aid this will prove to be a charter for the bent and manipulative lawyers,of which there are many. The failure of the Police to investigate,be it down to finances or ignorance does not help. You are then forced down the civil route, which as we know favours the party with the dirtiest lawyer and the deepest pockets(they normally come together),hardly justice.
Successive governments have sucked up to the Law Society, the British justice system admired the world over.It couldn't be further from the truth, greed now rules first, impartialty quite a way down the list. The British legal profession is equally as poorly regulated as the British financial industry,if Jezzer wakes up to this he could catch Mother Theresa with her knickers round her ankles.

Seems the investors for the lenders for the Tin Shed are getting worried that the potential buyer has not completed yet. I wonder why.
Is it because Mr Toad is still in occupation, or taking too long to move out his last few pencils.
They aren't having much luck in selling the Pig Farm either.

Watch news tonight major announcement on connection between Lloyds bank &a alder king should be interesting
This was the second time that this guys story has been pulled from a documentary.Seems to me that Lloyds are particularily keen to keep their 'receivers' out of the spotlight, surely a major high street bank haven't got anything to hide?
Or ,as has been speculated,Lloyds BSU is a far bigger story than Reading HBOS.

Lord Leveson presiding over the Peter Williams appeal, could be a very interesting judicial review if Williams fails and is prepared to go all the way to clear his name.
Mind you ,if Williams is successful then best the SRA update their IT system to deal with the refused complainants.

  1. On 17 June 2013, the defendant filed a defence and part 20 claim (which was in fact a pure counterclaim against the claimant). On 5 July 2013, the claimant filed a reply and defence to the part 20 claim. On 4 December 2013, the defendant filed an amended defence and part 20 claim. By the defence, the defendant denied the claimant's claim to possession of the two properties. By the amended part 20 claim, the defendant claimed damages from the claimant, on various legal grounds. In summary, these were that the claimant advised the defendant in 2007 to provide security for loan facilities provided by the claimant to the company, and that the claimant failed to advise the defendant of the risks of this lending. The defendant also claimed damages for breach of statutory duty under section 150 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. Finally (the financial crisis of 2008 having by then supervened), the defendant claimed damages for breach of various duties in having failed to provide further facilities to the defendant after 2008, to support him through his financial difficulties

Sauce for the goose is obviously not sauce for the gander in Des's world :sneaky:

Read it and weep

scratches head....:scratchhead:

so the principal of UKCC, UKFF, UKAF etc etc tries to claim damages from the bank for not advising him of the risks of this lending, and for not providing further lending facilities when he couldnt manage his existing lending due to the credit crunch???

The reference to "the debt referred to in paragraph 14 above" is a reference to the liability under his personal guarantee to the claimant bank, in a total sum of £3,241,000.34, together with interest :eek::eek:

Ah,but did he have legal advice..........................obviously a good lawyer would have pointed out those pitfalls .Wasn't this at the same time he was churning out all the crap how he understood the farmers needs and could provide the financial solution.:banghead:
