UK ACORN,FARM FINANCE,DES PHILLIPS,BEWARE!!!!!

FCA said today’ 40 percent of all city companies turn blind eye to corruption
Makes me wonder how no more professional indemnity insurers aren't following the lead of Collegiate.Recently heard a firm of valuers had reluctantly settled with Phillips and co for considerably less than the eyewatering claim, which they maintain had little if any merit.Bet the insurers won't report it as fraudulent............no different to whiplash claims etc.

If I understand that right, this longstanding (alleged!) fraud has caused losses not just to farmers causing losses of their farms but other financial institutions such as insurers causing huge losses to them also. If this matter had been properly investigated and charges brought the insurers would have had to pay nothing to Phillips or any of his mates.

Exactly. If the recent case I mentioned in my previous post is anything to go by, it might explain the massive underselling of some properties.Where there's blame there's a claim ,as they say.

Let’s hope Banks have allowed themselves enough rope to hang them self’s I no Compassion for them after all what gos around comes around
The only way these people will get hanged is if the likes of us become the hangman. It can be done, and much quicker than depending on Plod,if Plod feels they can actually act anyway and don't hide behind Wurzelplods 'full and thorough investigation'.

This sort of vile behaviour is not confined to RBS,this is modern day banker language .Very similar attitudes and language in masses of correspondence between Lloyds Business Support Unit (nice misnomer!) and their agents. This was treated like a big, bonus driven, game ,peoples livelihoods and properties just chucked away like yesterdays memos. And how they love it if somebody puts up a fight, then the rarely used rule book definitely goes out of the window.

Very good debate, whether any of those criticised now take action remains to be seen.It is perfectly clear that both Jo Stevens and Chris Ruane are mindful of the failings of Avon and Somerset Police .Shame that Jacob Rees-Mogg wasn't there to hear that.
