Yes,and I hate to labour the point, mostly in the Avon and Somerset Police area.Alder King,Burges Salmon,Lloyds BSU and UK Acorn all mentioned in the debate on Thursday, all in A&S area and all subject of complaints to them.
What came across to me, was the initial disbelief of the MPs that organisations such as these could possibly be acting in a fraudulent manner. This is the response of so many people and the biggest barrier to any complainant, and the bent lawyers know this.It seems that not only the Police are fooled by this but the judiciary as well.
Speaking on Question Time,Sir Howard Davies spoke with sincerity,I believe, he clearly felt the humiliation of the released memos ,not an attitude taken by Lord Blackwell, chairman of Lloyds Banking Group who has constantly denied any wrongdoing.Whether his attitude will change with the publishing of similar quotes and evidence of forged agricultural charges remains to be seen.It is all very well for the banks to blame such antics on junior managers, but these very managers are able to rob people of everything, change their life forever.

Dont think the judiciary are fooled I am sure some of them are on the banks payrole. Certainly if you looked at my case you would be hard pressed to come to any other conclusion as the only way to stop them being prosecuted for fraud was to declare the contract unenforceable.

Certainly seems that way, same judges hearing most of the cases for one lender in this part of the world, and don't they love reeling out the phrases such as 'unfortunately my hands are tied','I feel very sorry for you'.........bullsh!t:mad:

Yes and No,Noel was very happy to attend and promote the debate but what about his MP,where was he/she? Who is he/she? Presumably if he had contacted his MP and they were not prepared to support him he would have published the fact.
Thursday was only the beginning ,to take this forward will require considerable lobbying of MPs,then those responsible for failing everybody will be called to account. It will be a long road before the door knocking starts.

Is Barclays caught up in this scandal or just trying to make out thier whiter than white
I would consider they were up to their nostrils in it without a snorkel.Funders to UKCC,many documents, valuations etc headed UKCC/Barclays.Many a UKCC loan default  bought the whole house of cards down,as I believe they were intended to.Were these loans not the delight of Acorn House, exclaimed by the great man as 'double bubble',which was of course subsequently denied in court, Walker v UKCC.:(

Way too late for that, dishonesty is so embedded in the legal professions ethos it's become acceptable, the British Justice system once thought to be supreme is becoming a joke.

The courts are now a joke. If you have a Judge who operates a kangeroo court then prior to 2016 you where guaranteed an Appeal. Now that guarantee has gone the review is by fellow Judges on the same circuit and the operation of the kangeroo court is far easier.
Hopefully this Salekipour v Parmar case will secure an alternative route to justice in cases of fraud rather than having to rely on Appeal.
