Is she by any chance Pasty? If it is perhaps she should do a Simon Curtis and write a few lines on this thread, as Patsy was well in the midst of things and could really throw a new dimension to events. It could also be to her advantage as it was to Curtis, since he soon got paid off and dissapeared over the horizon.

First time I have seen this thread. Can someone give a summary of Des Phillips activities today or has he been prosecuted etc? I never dealt with him but met him when I was about 10 when his then haulage co 'Oak Haulage' delivered fertiliser, despite being young I never forgot him and remember thinking he was bad news. At the time he lived 4 miles from us.

Thinking about it, the haulage was Acorn not Oak, I know his Ag contrascting had collapsed by then, probably heard my dad talking about it, just remember thinking he was a bit of a chancer type.

I find it ironic that when Barclay's fraud awareness advert is aired on TV that they were the ones that bankrolled Toad, not once, but twice, then when it became obvious the damage he was creating they stated he was nothing to do with them. This not withstanding their white knight role in the Co-op case.

Good bedfellows then, they both deserve to be in the dock together - S.F.O.?!
