Welsh farmers to start protesting at holyhead port this week in an attempt to stop irish beef coming over. Lets hope this protest is the start of something massive, we cannot go on with these awful prices when we know its being driven by firms greed and not supply/demand
how are they going to stop them ?

The Irish beef has nowhere else to go has it, haven't they shut down all the slaughterhouses because the freezers in Ireland are all full? How are the protestors going to differentiate between lorries carrying beef and those loaded with other goods? For christ sake no one involved turn up in a 2019 Range Rover sport or a 200hp John Deere, it ruins the narrative! Only use the oldest, most knackered but road legal vehicle in your fleet, ideally something that has at least some parts made in the UK!!

Whilst there, could the protesters also put back on the ferry all the Fendt caravans towed by transit vans that have none matching plates.. as such they are illegal to be on the UK road network but the DVLA don't seem able to enforce the £1000 fines on certain sectors of society...

PS if Welsh farmers feel threatened by Irish Beef competition just wait till the gates open for tariff free imports from the USA, Brazil and Argentina.
