I thought the Ayrshire's were some of the stand out cattle of the day.
Looked good on the live feed. Cumbrian lads having a hell of a day.
Our lot thought their 2 thirds & a forth were ok. Had 3 heifers there. Problem when you calve at 2 don't always have the power against older heifers. As the judge commented in his reasons they will come out better next lact.

We had a grand day wandering around a few interesting things picked up, and it’s always interesting to see how the big spenders operate. Despite my feelings around the showing job you can’t fail to be impressed with the level of work that goes into them cows. Just like to see a bit more in terms of constituents on the boards behind them although I fully understand they’re bred solely on looks.

It's not an arable show, some people have cows to milk before they can get away.

Bet the NFU didn't have a pims o'clock like they do at cereals 🙄🤣

The arable shows are nothing like this levels of busy. Was nice to see things getting back to normal. Not sure about the NFU stand.
