Disappointed that New Zealand are not included , they seem to be too close to China !!! I'm not sure how the Five eyes intelligence gathering group will handle this ....

Um, so was the EU excluded from this particular party? Suppose some on here will think they're the real enemy, sigh.

Hope the Americans will treat us a little nicer than the Afghan debacle..

I fear it is too little, too late, as Australia has allowed itself to become economically dependent on China and also Australia has allowed or indeed - encouraged a recent mass influx of Chinese population to settle in the country, but it was very welcome news nonetheless. I hope it will lessen China's bullying of the Australian nation as well as other nations in that area and I will toast this agreement at the weekend with my normal weekly purchase of Australian produced wine.
