Unbelievable classic car collection

I've only just heard about this which is a bit annoying as the sale was last saturday so no idea how much things made (plus 20% buyers premium) , there were some real classics, and some less so, here in varying condition, all found on a farm in Preston.

Even had a Gilbern which, I'm ashamed to say, I'd never heard of and had to look them up! In fact they should of as well as the spelling in the catalogue is incorrect.

Me culpa, but a typo on a forum is hardly comparable to an auction company misspelling the name a car they are hoping to sell into a market which tends to be very knowledgeable and keen to see that details are correct. It comes over as very unprofessional.

For myself I would wonder about the mind of one who would gain satisfaction from being so petty minded as to try and score some sort of advantage by highlighting the error.

No points scoring intended, but it’s one I read a lot on here from others and it strangely grates with me. The context of your post was such that it seemed acceptable to comment, and I sensed that you are sufficiently educated to understand. Feel free to reciprocate as and when you see fit, and apologies if you didn’t take my comment in the manner it was intended.

And agreed about the catalogue.
