undersowing spring barley

Thanks for posting those videos Tim they are exactly what I need
Ontario and Michegan might have a more continental climate than the south hams in Devon but the early vigour of a barley plant and the tiny clover seed should in theory keep everything in place
I can't think that the Americans are using a second pass to put the clover in ??

I suspect red clover would give the highest yields and put the most oomph back into the soil ,maybe i should get the barley growing away and then tickle it in ,I've only been successful broadcasting clover once, when everything came right ,so drilling would seem essential ,but i would not wish to compromise the barley yield with too aggressive drilling tackle , some people use grass harrows ,which i have access
to but they aren't capable of putting the clover seed in, would my simtech pull up too much barley ?
Hang on to your old simtech points with no base plate left, they have been very useful to us thickening up bits and pieces in schemes where we didn't want to loose what we had, or dry the surface too much.
