understanding Ebvs

what does the below ebv tell you about this ram?

sorry with how it has come out but was he only way I could post it. I bought him 3 years ago and have only now found his ebvs. I didnt buy him off the back of this so not fussed if it reads bad as I think things have improved under him.

For the ones with the No entry sigh on them, there isn't enough data in the system for it to have valid ebv's.
For the rest of them on the bar graph 100 is the breed average so the coloured bars show you roughly how far from breed average he is in either direction.

He is just above breed average for Maternal ability but is well below average for eight week, scan weights and muscle depth.

There are far worse animals in the breed but I wouldn't buy him as a stock tup having seen the figures.

ah right seems a lot easier to understand now. Tbf his lambs are not much worse price wise at the end of the year to lambs ive had before but hes the only lleyn ive used. Lambed his first gimmers off him this year and they were really, really good mothers I felt but admittedly I found their lambs a tad smaller than my own ewes but nothing too crazy. I was trying to improve maternal abilities and prolificacy by getting a Lleyn and certainly feel I have, my percentage has gone up 20 percent on the year, quite pleased about it but my original thinking was I needed to get a tup with better weight ebvs.
