uneven ripening beans

Had a little of this last year but this year it's even more, in some part of the field it's probably 20% green plants.
They had 1920 grams of glyphosat 12 days ago.

Anyone else has this, and what can I do next year to make it more even?

We were recommended to use Reglone pre harvest by our agronomist and whilst we didn't bother this year I can see you might benefit from using diquat rather than glyphosate next year. Did you plough in the beans? Uneven germination? People seem to be getting good results direct drilling beans. Our winter beans went in ploughed ground with our Weaving tine drill and I'm very pleased how even they are. Your crop looks good despite the green pods (which is annoying I agree).

That's a lot of glyphosate.
And not a lot of time.

Did ours with 1000g and it seems to do nothing to them in the first 2 weeks, then they die rapidly. The grasses etc go brown really fast but the beans will die.

Have had a problem in one field this year with very uneven germination due to the dry spring. About 60% ready the rest were completely green, stems, pods the lot. Sprayed 3 weeks ago with reglone + podstick but still not ready. Green plants now black but a lot of beans still green/soft. Hopefully get them next week.

Thanks for all your replys, they were direct drilled with a Horsch Sprinter, and all seemed to germinate with in a few days.
We are not allowed to use Reglone in beans here in Denmark.

The brown plants was almost ready when the glyphosat went on so it probably didn't do anything to them.
Last year the green plants wasn't ripe after 5 weeks after 1000 gram of glyphosat, so we upped the dose this year.

We sprayede Amistar + Orius 10 weeks ago because of some late chocolate spot.
Maby the "green effect" of the Amistar only worked on some plants [emoji38]

Looks like time (and the glyphosat) has done it's work. Now we just need it to stop raining, 300 mm here since the start of August, in some parts of Northern Jytland they have had 400 mm so fare.

Weather sucks here too. Can't even get on some land with the sprayer. At least your beans will be ready if you ever get 2 or 3 sunny days.
