Unexpected success!

I’m doing some fencing in shelter belts and other odd bits . On short bits I’ve only ever tightened wire using the fencing pliers but 3 hands would help when using them. So I bought a Draper wire tighting bar/tool thing didn’t expect it to be up to much but it’s worked really well!

I got one last year. It’s handy but you’ve got to be bloody careful with it when it’s under tension! Eye protection is an absolute must!

And it’s 3 times the price. I don’t do a lot of fencing so wouldn’t pay that much.

Good bit of kit only gripe I have is they have a tendency to want to twist on the post whichever side your pulling off it top/bottom jaws

Got that too but I was in the middle of a hawthorn thicket so wasn’t sure it was the tool me or my location
