Universal 445 Rear wheel seized

I have a Universal 445 which is useful for for jobs that dont require a large tractor but having been parked up for two months the rear nearside wheel is seized.
I am no mechanic but I would like to have a go at fixing this rather than parking it in the nettles.
I have tried rockin g it in forward and reverse gear and the lump hammer but no joy.
Any advice from the experts would be most appreciated.

Likely the handbrake is stuck on. Don't know if you can see in to the band anywhere or not. Maybe see if the rod or cable is going fully back to release it first?

Would this be your setup?

If so put blocks to the wheels so it cant run away, then tap the linkages as they go into the casings.

So going by that picture, the footbrakes and handbrake share the same bands.I thought there were shoes inside as well, just the same as the older Zetor setup. Obviously not!

I don't think Universal's brakes were like Zetors as When I drove a Universal 30 odd years ago draying silage trailers it would actually stop and can never remember driving Zetors with brakes:whistle:

Dear God, the wee 540 Universal that I drove near 40 years ago was incapable of stopping at a roadend(with a slight downwith admittedly) & this with an empty old light hay trailer.

Now unsiezed thanks for the advice, good for another few years, still not sure how it came to be seized but slackened off adjustment on brakes, got the pedals moving then rocked it wiith dif lock on and off. Then readjusted to stop it.
Gear stick now loose so might be back for more advice now I have the confidence!
