Hay if possible, but i will settle for anything not full of rain water. You have my sympathy Hay or silage?
I think they are both owned by the same group so probably shared stories. Can’t be any more inaccurate than the Express with its hackneyed headline grabbing predictions of Biblical drought and floods that never come to pass, any more than do their annual autumnal warnings of ‘Brrrrace yourselves for the worst winter for decades!’ ‘Temperatures to plummet below zero for months on end of arctic conditions!’
I’d go with the Star over the Express any day, but the truth is nobody really knows what will happen in a fortnight’s time, let alone predicting six months ahead.
So have I at least. Don’t feel left out. I am in a system where I likley have too much stock on. All late ground here, no chance of getting meadows cleared much before the end of May. Eaten off to the floorboards slap some muck on and fert so no realistic likleyhood of starting cutting before third week in July. Pity it’s pee'd down since then although I have got one lump done. Pleased I started with the wettest bit first.F*ck off! Ive still got over 100 acres grass to cut.
There was a lot made earlier on but no real demand for it. I know of 250 acres of hay between various farms that couldn’t be sold. That could changeHas much hay been made up North?
I think the Express likes the headline "house prices shoot up", "house prices crash", "Storms to lash Britain" or "Heatwave tomorrow"Can’t be any more inaccurate than the Express with its hackneyed headline grabbing predictions of Biblical drought and floods that never come to pass, any more than do their annual autumnal warnings of ‘Brrrrace yourselves for the worst winter for decades!’ ‘Temperatures to plummet below zero for months on end of arctic conditions!’

Same here, we've been lucky. Finally had a shower yesterday that registered on the gauge (1mm). I think we'll pay for it later this week though.Same here no decent rain lately 4mm yesterday thought it would be more then we never catch it.Still hope for storm Friday!
its still dry here need some rainWeather broke at the end of July last year in Crapweathershire. Starting to dread a nice May / June, as the weather never holds for harvest.
Not much good stuff I doubt. Most I've baled has been well past it grass or rushed and wasn't really hay. But you can only bale what you are told.Has much hay been made up North?
