Simple answer is you cannot upload videos direct to the forum! You have to upload to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc then attach a link. I think videos overload the Tff servers

It does sound like it isn’t an easy thing to do (uploading videos from phones etc) and perhaps it is something we should ask @Clive to look into for us.
Could it be done via WhatsApp, for instance?

A Gif is a short little video, I think the framerate and resolution is doctored to keep file sizes small for forums and the like. Uploading full videos to any external site may be problematic for people on slow connections.

What you need to upload to YouTube is a free app called HandBrake and a fast internet upload speed. Or at least that's what is used on Apple computers. Check it out to see whether it has a Windows version. Then follow the instructions or tutorials on YouTube.
