Urgent. Help needed

As most of you know on here we are going out of milk due to health and family commitments.
We do have the cows sold which is a bonus but they can’t go for 6 weeks.
The problem I have is milk buyer is stopping collecting milk on Thursday so in abit of a pickle. Any body Cumbria based able to milk 38/40 cows for 6/7 weeks please. Not needing any payment just need milked on. Has to be a tb4 area.

Surely you can get your milked collected by another buyer on spot terms, circa 32ppl at the moment ??

Fair point, when demand is strong its a bugger if you cant move the milk on. Good luck.

Takinheifers in instead to utilise sheds and grazing. And a less volitile situation.

Is whoever bought them not able? Bought my herd 5 years ago and it’s a fair bit upheaval never mind two moves. Are they getting buffer fed or at grass only?

There been laid for in 3 payments and there not just going around the corner from the farm. Tbh it’s 250 miles away.
There out In day in at night and not on 4kg of cake.

Why can't buyer take them , if I bought some cows and they were moved from pillar to post before they arrived I'd be pretty peed off
