He is a socialist democrat. FDR was too. Would President Sanders be allowed a ‘New Deal’ today?

the green new deal is part of his plan. Massive government investment in renewable energy and infrastructure for EVs and autonomous vehicles. It would be a huge boost to the economy. But he would mess it up by not allowing companies to profit from it.

he’s a communist and therefore unelectable. But on the plus side Hilary really hates him.

He has got nothing against companies making profit, so long as they aren’t screwing the system and paying their dues.

He is not a communist.

You could argue that the misery is self inflicted, or at least allowed to happen due to poor legislation.
That isn't an 'argument' it's a simple statement of fact. Both individuals - apropos themselves - and government, with responsibility for national law-making, have some responsibility in this and other similar matters - meaning destructive addictions. But, make no mistake, the greater part lies with the individual.
