I aspire to be lazy.
though you would probably classify me only working 12 hr days for 10 months of the yr. currently in our quiet time where 4hrs a day does the job quite nicely

You really have no clue if that’s what you think. What about GPS, energy stability, roads, culture, ..., the governments of this world do far more than provide you with paracetamol (acetaminophen, since I know you’re American) and sticking plasters.

exactly my point.... and why didn't it end well ? because of strong brits and a strong America to see that it didn't... with a liberal socialist America... there is noone there to stop the spread...

I don’t take much notice of media at all - social or otherwise. I review a lot, but form my own opinions mostly from review of the facts - that’s court accepted submissions and rulings etc.

What I find confusing is that perfectly reasonable and sensible questions are asked around the validity of a statement that Is made evidence that is produced et cetera and what he’s given in return is either random stuff about communism or deflection. How on earth do you prove a theory that way?

It’s because a lot of people have totally lost trust in the media and government, probably justifiably so. They then blindly look for a saviour, it’s an amazing bit of irony that they have chosen a conman-predator as their messiah. They have no interest in facts or evidence. Rumours, lies and presumed hints are enough to keep them in line

I imagine the attorney general of Georgia was well within his legal right to record a conversation Particularly when you are being lied about on an almost daily basis By your president. What happened after that is as you say a legal matter. Though I imagine at least half the country is now glad to know that Trump is. Actively encouraging a Coup.

I think that is a fair point. The WP and NYP would have picked it up anyway so why not lead with a local paper tHat might be trusted more locally ??

Maybe because the local papers couldn’t be trusted to run with it? In fact, who’s to know that it wasn’t put out to one of them first anyway? And would there actually be a statewide paper that had proper circulation (as opposed to city wide and multiple cities).

There’s also the issue that not all voters (who all have a right to know) would be living within the state. As we have seen, plenty of legitimate voters live abroad/ in other states/ in military bases and they all deserve to hear news that’s as important as this is purported to be.
