Used tractor warranty

Hello!

Looking at purchasing a used fastrac 4220 but it would probably be without warranty 3-4000 hours. I’m a bit nervous about having one without warranty.

Has anyone bought a separate warranty type package for a used tractor?

Many thanks

If it coming from a dealer it should come with some warranty.normaly a month or 2 .or sometimes it's clock hours 50 or 100 whatever the dealer offers.this will give you time to sort out any problems not known at sale. Then just save you're money and pay for you're own repairs if you've picked a good one you're quids in

All car dealers and machinery dealers are legally obligated to fix any problems with sold items for six months post sale date, just that you have to prove the fault was there at purchase.

Sadly this is a lovely idea, but it ain’t true! If only it was.
Elliot. I’d pay a jcb mech for half a day to look over it. If it costs you £500 it will still be cheap

What sort of dealer are you then, a fffing ebay one? you sell me something that’s unable to perform as it should i can park it in shed and return it 6 years later for my money back. Go and learn your obligations.
We’ve been selling machinery for over 50 yrs , I’ve yet to see any law regarding used tractors and machinery
We sometimes stand repairs on faulty machinery on the hope it gives us a good reputation
