User opinions on a MF 9305 Xtra telwhandler

Just looking at one of these and have heard they are generally good machines, however, they lack dump angle and the rear pickup can't pick up a loaded trailer, are these comments correct?

What do others think of them?

AS you probably know - its a Bobcat in Red - this topic has been covered a number of times - if you are going to keep it 20 yrs the depreciation will not be so much of a problem for you - if the price is similar new to market leaders - JCB & Manitou - buy one of of those - Bobcat & Massey have never sold any quantity of machines in the UK over many many years - so they do not establish a used following and Trade Price - it may be better than the market leaders - but we will never know - to stimulate market share they have deals quite often - 0% over 5 yrs, drop the selling price to gain sales - this all ok but it has not stimulated growing sales as once the deals have finished, customers buy there preferred machine. Over 25 yrs there market share has been dismal. They sell better in mainland Europe as do all Bobcat products - their used prices have gone up because of a shortage and pricey JCB, Manitou, Merlo etc so Bobcat TH and Massey are lower down the pecking order and now benefitting from crazy market leaders prices and production delays. They also update machines and models more regular than market leaders - and this has a negative effect on values -
With regard to APUH on TH, with 65% of the TH weight on the rear axle when unladen, normal weight on HOOK used to be advised as 2,000 kgs - in order not to damage Axle manufactures load restrictions. Subject to brakes, you could probably tow 30 tons on a Drawbar Trailer , and often manufactures have "Gross Train Weight" on the Serial No Plate - but as to how they ever come up with these figures I have know idea, All IMO

Hi, we have a 9305 Xtra bought new in 2018. Would agree with those comments, dump angle could be better. PUH won’t lift a loaded trailer but in our case not overly concerned by it as it’s only occasionally used for shunting around the farmyard. If the load is that heavy then even if it could be lifted, I wouldn’t be tempted to pull it.
Admittedly, we’ve never had a telehandler on farm before this one so I can’t compare it to other brands but we’re quite pleased with it. Only issue we had was a sensor of some sort that failed and left the machine stuck in 2 wheel steer. Replacement was covered under warranty though.
