Precision earth does guidance to sample points (free)

Not sure about straight a b line type guidance though

Someone hound on one but iPhone GPS is not great for accuracy really ??

I'm not aware that the iPhone has any kind of correction signal like EGNOS/WASS so I doubt that it would be accurate enough for parallel tracking. My 3GS is sub 15 metres accuracy on my CHS area finder app but in reality it is far better than that having verified it with Gatekeeper's mapping based on Bing maps.

I did a quick Google search but didn't turn up anything. There used to be an app for a Palm type PDM that Patchwork sold for VRA & guidance. Staring at a light bar is hard enough without squinting at it on a tiny screen too.

Has it got to be iPhone ?
I have a guidance app on a windows phone ( the older type, running 6.5 )
I got it from a German website www.lacos.de
There is an alternative ( also German ) that also runs on the same OS. I think the cheap guidance system ( tractorgps ? ) use it on a low cost tablet.
You wouldn't want to run your minimum wheelings system on it, but it helps a small dairy farmer putting aftercut on.

Interesting. Perhaps not really low cost compared to other existing complete devices (even if ignoring the iPad cost) but looks like a unique approach. Would have been nice to see more about the iPad app.

The iPad app is available on the app store for free. Just search Agricision onTrak I think. There is nothing available for anywhere near £700 is there? and I think the lights on the bonnet will make it so much much easier to use. I have used several light bars and they are impossible to follow properly. Also I can move this one from tractor to tractor + gator etc without any wires or hassle.

No need to get excited. Odd that you just found the product and now you can move it from machine to machine. I don't like hidden advertisements, if that is the case.

£700 plus iPad gives many options. You can always argue on features. No wires but a hassle to keep batteries charged etc. etc. As I already said, an interesting approach in my opinion but I'm not going to purchase any iPad just to learn what the app can do.

what does the £700 pay for? the lightbar on the bonnet? Does it need an antenna?

£700 for a few leds and a magnet mount? Surely it comes with a basic GPS receiver (EGNOS support). After all, almost the same price as a similar receiver with an integrated display and an external rooftop antenna.

To be clear, I'm not criticising the product if not praising either.

According to the Agricision onTrak website it uses WASS, EGNOS, and GLONASS. If anyone spots it at LAMMA, can you post up your thoughts on here?? I am interested
