Using leak detection fluid

We have an inspection pit in the yard which overflows during heavy rain ie most of this year. Water drains away fine for a few mm of rain, two or three 4 inch entry pipes exiting from what feels like a 2 inch exit pipe, so not a good start. Rodding the exit pipe I meet an obstruction after 10m or so, perhaps a bend ? The pipe is under 50cm of concrete, so don't fancy digging. Using divining rods seems to show water everywhere under the yard. Plan A involves putting leak detection fluid down the pit, seeing where it comes out, then work from t'other end. The fluid comes as a powder which is according to the manufacturer is completely harmless and non toxic (wear PPE when using it !) and don't use on fish ponds. Wherever our water does drain to it will eventually end up in a watercourse 30m away and the EA are very hot on water pollution around here, so I'm wary about leaving a fluorescent trail all the way down to the Severn, if this stuff is as good as they say it is.. Has anybody used a similar product ?

fluorescein, looks like red powder in the tin, goes green when mixed in water, try just a little bit to start with as it's hellish to dilute and wash away when it's too strong.
