I believe that Kubota oil is from Total as well. Not Morris. Unless they have an exclusive UK arrangement.
Lubricants are bulky and do tend to be sourced on a regional basis by many brands.
I wonder, for instance, whether Morris supply MF/AGCO on mainland Europe? They certainly don’t for the factory fill and there is confirmation of that on a sticker attached to every new tractor.

Kubota oil is make in UK according to the can (see bottom right hand corner of the can)

BUT JCB oil comes from Belgium  :X3: (see bottom centre of can)

I could be wrong but I think Q8 were supplying JCB from their plant in Belgium.....but, the costs of exporting it to the UK went up after brexit & I'm not sure if they fell out or if JCB wouldn't pay the extra but they have parted company, so I'm not sure who's picked that contract up.

It's the £000's that it costs to get the OEM "full approval" instead of "meets the spec" that drives the price up.

To be clear, the oil companies have to pay the vehicle manufacturer to have the manufacturer-specific performance specification approval code for the oil they supply.
In the case of tractors there is absolutely no need for manufacturer specific spec codes anyway, because they must, by law, also make available the international accreditation for the engine lubricants, which by the way the oil companies also have to pay a ransom for.

In 95% of cases all agricultural machines require is oil that meets an international standard of performance and viscosity. That standard is printed in the instruction books. Almost all transmissions with wet clutches and brakes require a UTTO or SUTO with a certain specified viscosity range. Axles may require an EP oil of heavier viscosity but not all by any means.
