Vaccar plate cooler

I have gained a leak around this white collar on a vaccar plate cooler. Anyone know what I will find if I try to strip it down. Is the stainless nipple pushed in screwed in or even pushed in from the other side.

will be a square o ring thingy to seal it -on the inside of the end plate.
Have you twisted the outlet pipe to make it fail ? or just age ??

So exactly as you said now we have stripped it down. Seal has simply distorted over time.

Tried to make a replacement seal but tolerances have to be very exact so plates fit flush and seal is under correct pressure. Vaccar no longer have parts diagram.

Anyone have any idea where I could source one.

Looks similar to Fabdec. Away this weeekend -will get you a part no. next week . But wont guarantee its the same...

OK -bit of research -this from an old Vaccar book is part no. 18-04-57
Vaccar stock and spare parts business was sold to Dairy Spares - (dairyspares.co.uk) who have it in stock as part no. 180457 -£18.08 ea.
You will need to buy through a Dairy Spares dealer -they do not sell direct to public.
