Bit strange but is there anywhere you can get a comprehensive sheet of dosage amounts per beasts kg weight for commonly used antibiotic treatment?

After my brain injury I struggle to understand dosage weights. 1ml per 15kg beast weight is fine but some are in lbs (see example attached). Worried one day il get it wrong.

Use a convertor app on your phone? I'm on Android and use one called ConvertPad.

Very easy to use and converts almost all measurements. I don't use it a lot, but very handy when I do need it.

As above, 100lb is 45kg (plus a tiny bit more) so 3ml to 45kg is the same as 1ml per 15kg.

I hope that's of some help.
Helps a lot. I will download the app.

Dunno why the leaflets can't just say 1ml per 15kg though - everyone understands that [emoji849]

I was actually trying to work out how much Betamox for a 360kg heifer with an ear infection. Better get that leaflet and see what it says [emoji4]

Lol says Cattle 450kg = 45ml
So I guess 360kg = 36ml.
Why couldn't it just say 1ml per 10kg!

Sympathies. I've a prob with numeracy, and when they present a mixture of metric and imperial in the same sentence, or expect me to work backwards from a fugure, my head spins.
I do fathom it out eventually, but that's time spent when I could be treating the animal.

A simple ratio, with a couple of examples as a guide is all that's needed.

I'm exact same as you - I do fathom it out eventually but the time it takes me delays treatment and I worry il get confused if it's the middle of the night.

Doesn't help the writing on the leaflets so tiny!

No it doesn't help these days :D

I've had to add reading specs to the medicines box this year, and now there isn't as much room for the emergency chocolate :sour:
