66 million,,how many are not registered with a gp ,how many are in the country that shouldn't be ,how many keep arriving from France and disappear, the homeless that move around ,,there will be thousands that are untraceable to vaccinate

Who says there will be a vaccine? No vaccine for the common cold and that is a form of Coronavirus. I'd say developing it will be the bigger challenge then distributing it amongst our pretty miniscule population compared to other countries.
That said, according to Sky news this morning there is now a 100% reliable test that has been developed in Switzerland so progress is being made in small steps.

The common cold isn’t one single virus....it’s a variation isn’t it? There are 3 or 4 that exist each year which is why you can catch it several times.

Also, I doubt it’s economically viable to combat. It doesn’t cost our economy or freedoms so not worth throwing hundreds of billions at.

This coronavirus is the biggest threat to our species in a long time so is worth it.

Quite possibly the case, though it is believed that the Covid 19 has mutated and there are different forms of it about so not too dissimilar, though I would imagine the full kitchen sink has been thrown at developing a vaccine in just about every 1st world country.

Probably 80% vaccinated would stop the spread? It's going to be nothing but hassle though, I can see it already. Scare stories about people getting ill from the vaccine, arguments about it not being effective against new mutations, conspiracy theories "They INJECTIN us with the 5G!" And then all the countries that can't afford/unable to vaccinate will have to be isolated and have travel bans? It's going to be a long haul

6-8 mutations already of CV19

First infection was milder strain in UK and Europe in December and JAN, this year

Some believe this more deadly March and April/May cases we are seeing currently is actually the second wave & this is from a more infectious and stronger variant

3rd wave - who knows?

How’s that for a conspiracy theory ?

Maybe not far from the real truth though and the French have confirmed cases from swabs taken on 17/12/2019

Lot of people poorly with flu like chest infections over Xmas and JAN, not enough to kill them until it mutated

If it was in China in October & November 2019 you can bet that it was in Europe in late Nov and December 2019 - such is the speed of air travel now

Is this correct? Are these actual facts?

I'm not quite sure from the tone of your post, it could be taken either way when you use the word conspiracy. I may just be short of sleep and not getting the nuance.

Every day there are claims that a new variant has been found, a vaccine should help lessen the affect as the flu one does even if it doesn't prevent it completely.
By the time it arrives a huge number will have had CV so wont need it, it will be for the vulnerable mainly as the flu one is.
Its worth noting how few nhs staff take up the flu vaccine each year despite the pressure from managers. Hardly any where my missus works will have it.

Yes Dave
6-8 mutations may be underestimating on my part and a bit flippant
Here's some findings from Imperial and others

Today the government has announced that there is now a reliable antibody test.

Therefore it is reasonable to deduce that they can identify the antibodies. The best brains in the world are working on it, so, if they can identify them they will then isolate them and sooner or later make a vaccine out of them.

A vaccine will be forthcoming but how much testing governments will insist on before using it is anybody's guess.

the latter is not peer reviewed. Of course that doesn’t Invalidate it’s findings but should signal a note of caution

The percentage that dont want it may spread to each other. But if everyone has the chance of a vaccine what business is it of theres if someone else doesnt want it?
