Vad Rapid 3m Box drill Tramline Clutch

Has anyone had to take one out/change one, is it a big job? I assume you have to take the complete seed metering shaft out?? Got one packed up and am about to overhaul the old girl.

Yes, take the metering shaft out and I think it's pretty straight forward after that. When I did mine a few years ago it took a fair bit of effort to get the shaft to start sliding out.
 
If I remember correctly spring clip through metering shaft behind gearbox to pull out then pull out shaft from Rh side leaving all metering wheels in place then open the Perspex covers over tramline metering wheels and lift out unplugging elec plug simples. Tramline clutch can be opened and cleaned lots of little magnets in there a bit of a fiddle but possible

Many thanks, it was easy, fortunately the shaft came easily, just waiting on parts now, doing all the joiner bars and pivots/wheel bearings etc so plenty to be on with!!
