just got the drill out as thinking about drilling some rape and when in transport position it is creeping down. Can’t see any obvious oil leaks and when in drilling position with rod pushing valve shut on ram it doesn’t creep. Any ideas what’s wrong with it ?

Don’t think it is as when depth rod pushes valve shut which is on top of ram it doesn’t creep.

It can be caused by any of the marker/pre-em ram seals leaking from high pressure side to low pressure side of valve block. A crack inside the block or faulty solenoid?

Hadn’t thought of that sounds like it could take some tracking down.
