was browsing through gear the other day.

Anyone seen used one, any thoughts?

Look like a top down without the discs on the front to me.


That is exactly what it is. I had one on demo with tractor last spring. Too big for my tractor and conditions, and i don’t have anything to compare it with. But it made the seedbed for my highest yielding maize (the rest was ploughed)

5m and jd 8.345r i think? I’m not very familiar with the 8r numbers. It managed it fine even at 30cm. We averaged about 4 ha/hour.
It’s impressive when you are used to a 5 furrow plough and 2 times tine cultivating before drilling maize.
