The manual has a good guide, you can use the calibration pans to measure seed depth, if grass I sprinkle on top and let rear Harrow do its job.ive just taken on a vad
has anyone a rough guide to where the discs need to be set for the depth for grass, cereals and cover crops? i think im right but overthinking is getting the better of me!
Because it bought and paid for, our only drill, we don't own a fert spreader, and it does a good job. Drill does all our cereals, forage crops, and grass lot quicker/cheeper than a combi.I must be missing something here ? but why use an expensive to buy , pull and run heavy drill just to broadcast seeds on the surface and use its harrow ?
From a costs / business point of view that just doesn't make sense.
