To do a full re metal job (less levelling paddle tips) on a 4 metre vaderstad rapid system disc drill there is a £550 difference between genuine and non genuine (Agrilinc). Is it worth paying the extra for genuine?. Thanks

Never used Agrilinc so can't comment on theirs but used another big non genuine supplier and apart from the increased wear rate they don't fit very well which is a right pain in arse! Bad enough lying on your back doing the job but when it doesn't fit well it's enough to drive you potty!

Genuine. It's far better steel.

If it is for ready consumables then try a few non genuines for comparison on places that are easy to get to when you'll inevitably be changing it after a few days. I tried Spadlings & APM's crap and sent it back as it wouldn't fit, the discs weren't centred and were half as thick! Not half the price either.

Stick with genuine, it's not a nice job to do so you want them to last as long as possible.
I tried some non genuine and the coulters wouldn't fit against the discs correctly.

Morning,
For all's interest, the Vaderstad discs that we supply are the European Forges De Niaux brand who used to make the genuine discs for Vaderstad before they were taken in house. Similarly the Coulters we use are a German manufactured coulter which we have fitted successfully on all drill refurbs we do ourselves.
These should not be confused with the Far Eastern imported discs/coulters which are available from other suppliers!
