Valtra t174 lack of power

Friend is having a similar problem with his T174 and wanted to know if anyone had remapped one and perhaps deleted the adblue?
So he has checked the main fuel filter as stated on previous page?

These things are beasts, as are the older Valtras. 300hp is easily achieved, but i'd recommend to keep your head cool when adding power.

Went through exactly the same problem a few weeks ago on a T4 series. Laptop showed up with no faults. Turned out to be the primary fuel filter ( the one close to the cab ) It's on the suction side of the fuel delivery and the o ring on the filter was a little deformed. Replaced the filter ( special tool required ) and power back to normal. Remove filter and check o ring or just replace
Surely a special tool isn't required to change a diesel filter?

Filling the rear end of a valtra seems difficult enough without being able to just pour oil in.

Have they made it impossible to service the tractor yourself?

(I'm not brand bashing before the thick Irishman starts wittering on. Genuinely curious as I was impressed with the n4 demo I had out)

We demo one and the lads found it very under powered as well
I demoed the t214 and I found it dead compared to my old t190 , the t254 has massive power putting 260 hp to the pto , and it's using less fuel than the t190 , so the power to diesel use is great. I've been told by the service man that these new t4 tractors seem to open up after 500 hrs and go up 20-30 hp on the dyno. Is this possible.

Yes, it is possible or he's X Zetor and has been told to cover all eventualities when talking to customers. Its on the first page of the training manual .........

Of course it's possible, if it's written into the software. If it's correct or not, you'll just have to wait and see......

More importantly can anyone actually afford one of these new tractors that cost as much as a house?
My mate bought a used one earlier in the year but is disappointed with the power compared with the older ones hence asking the question,he would like to hear from an someone that has actually had one chipped rather than the mapping man
