Funnily it is not uncommon around here, I know of it happening to 5 T series, there is even an uprated 1st gear available to solve the issue.
Ive five T series here and I've never done a gear in any of them. But then we do know how to change from high to medium.

Well I’ve personally racked up 25-30k hrs in Valtra/Valmets in last 32 years and never had a gear or clutch pack in gearbox fail.
Highest hours on tractor 25k lowest excluding my T174 which is fairly new is 8k.

Around 50k hrs in total the brand has done on this farm. Only ever put brakes in 1 of them. Mechanically rock solid.

Have run many other brands along side them but none stayed the course.
Funnily enough you won’t find me running down other brands.
Personally I think they are all rubbish compared to years ago except in driver comfort. I stick with valtra because they’ve always served me well and cost little to keep running. They have their faults but so do the rest.
Does seem some people feel threatened by some brands and feel the need to constantly try to belittle and run them down.

That's huge hrs to have on a T4 , 8000 in 4 yrs.

Gudday people. Has anyone heard on any more developments on the Valtra circlip issue? We have just had one break and cause a major expense. Around that 2000 hour mark.

Will find exact build date. But I would say it would be around 2018 as well. Do you know how many were recalled?
How many were recalled isn't something a manufacturer would likely want to be widely known

What's they do want to be known is they've recalled every one that has the problem

The dealer will have access to the database with affected Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs). Give them a chance to put it right, then if that fails, point them towards a public forum or three 😉
