Valtra T175 radio

If you buy a cheap car you get a DAB radio with a list of available channels so you can pick the station of your choice, mine is Boom Radio or Greatest Hits.

Buy a tractor for £200K and you get a cheap looking radio like we used to have 20 years ago with fiddly controls which are difficult to use when the tractor is moving. I wish tractor manufacturers would put decent units in, I think a radio is a must when working long repetitive days.
In Valtra's defense, DAB radio isn't really a thing in Finland, so there's that. But i also know that they will install a DAB radio if the customer/dealer wants it.

In my car I can scroll through all the stations on DAB on a screen. On my tractor it is pot luck whether you can find what I want. I think tractor manufacturers should fit an integrated sound system from the start.

A pal of mine had a DAB fitted to his new Claas tractor, trouble was they didn't fit a DAB aerial so it has never worked. The firm sell Mengele kit!

Update on this. I have now managed to get a pioneer DAB radio working off the armrest controls without buying a stupidly expensive loom adapter. Won’t work off the smart touch screen however. Waiting for them to get a CAN radio from continental like in the Q series
