Good evening For years we have run a mixed fleet of tractors currently MF, claas, case, and John Deere .
Now looking ar a 200 hp tractor and seem to be getting a decent price on a Valtra T194 Versue smart touch. I'm pretty keen on them tbh looking at 160l pump. 60kph. Auto guide. 650r42 tyres. Anything I should know? Cheers

Recently got a T214active (wanted the active over the verse due to dad and uncle driving it). Seems to be a solid tractor and happy with it so far although not had it a year yet. Had been all ford/New Holland since 94 but recently been having bad luck with the later models so needed a change.

I bought a 174e Active (but high specification) 18 months ago and no regrets. Comfortable, quiet, pulls well, rides well, turns tight and holds the line on GPS better than any other wheel tractor we have had; that is after previously having a number of Fendt 900s over the last 20 years.

I have the 254 here , brilliant tractor , it’s a versu smart touch. I also have a 191; 190; 170 130 and a 6400, all brilliant tractors . Plenty of t170/190s working around here with 20-25;000 hours and still front line tractors .

Smoother gearbox, even though it is 4 ranges rather than the power command that we have on the NH. Otherwise lower revs running on the road at speed. It is a little unfair to comment about the engine really given its a 7.4ltr compared to the 6.7 of the NH (I think) and also a long wheelbase, but saying that the lock on the steering makes it a very manoeuvrable machine.

Have to say very impressed so far and given its time on our combination drill set up with power Harrow on front too it kept pulling even when revs did drop due to heavy land this year.

Think we made the right decision when trying a different brand for our needs.

Have to say i like the sisu engines. We have tractor with 7.4 litre and its a mighty engine but i found it really got betr after 2000 hours more power and less fuel. Them new valtras are smart lookin machine big improvement over previous models

Engines are that tight on modern tractors it takes ages for them to run in and get opened up
