Brian Robinson is the nearest but theres scrutons at YorkWho is your local valtra guy?
I might be wrong but I think the cab suspension on a m is only coil springs not oil like a rI’d have to check that, we currently have an R and it’s got cab and front suspension. I’m sure the suspension is the same on the M but I’d stand corrected
Valtra has air suspension on the front
I’ve just been checking and yes you’re correctI might be wrong but I think the cab suspension on a m is only coil springs not oil like a r
Why do people change wives..sometimes you fancy a change and ride something differentI was told the bigger JDs now come with 3 years warranty as standard .
If your last tractor has done you well and the dealer is good then why change ?
i have driven both brands and im not going to knock either but the valtra has much better weight balance over jdStability wise jd might be the better with a loader there a heavy tractor compared to others as a rule.
Jd's own loaders are heavy compared to others which may affect that. I know of a 6130r and i was surprised to find the loader alone weighs just over a ton!i have driven both brands and im not going to knock either but the valtra has much better weight balance over jd

the JD is numb for a loader but I could live with that just for lifting bales
we had a jd loader on the last 6130 we had, hated it tbh much preferred the quike we had on the previous tractor. Our loader is on and off like a brides nightie and the jd was an awkward bugger to drop off.Jd's own loaders are heavy compared to others which may affect that. quike loaders are the cats tits, dont think there is much betterHas the 6130

Money is definitely an object...one we’d like to spend as little as possibleWell now you've said money no object and your not worried about
breakdowns go for the Valtra.
That 6130m is a very well proven tractor so should be very reliableMoney is definitely an object...one we’d like to spend as little as possible

i was just making reference to deere and valtra for tractor balance and weight distribution ,Jd's own loaders are heavy compared to others which may affect that. I know of a 6130r and i was surprised to find the loader alone weighs just over a ton!
We have a 623R loader on a 6120m, with hindsight should have gone for a smaller loader as the back end can feel a bit light on slopes. Otherwise really happy with the 6120m, tight turning circle makes it a very useful loader tractor.Jd's own loaders are heavy compared to others which may affect that. That looks a very handy loader tractor with the slopey bonnet. We have a 623R loader on a 6120m, with hindsight should have gone for a smaller loader as the back end can feel a bit light on slopes. I was just pointing out that if jd's own loader is adding 300/400kg extra weight to the front end of the tractor compared to a quicke it would have a big influence on weight distribution.i was just making reference to deere and valtra for tractor balance and weight distribution ,
