Just been looking at Valtra's A series and G series and can't but help notice that there is significant similarities to Masseys 4700 series and the new 5S and it got me thinking about the structure of AGCO while I assume they will go the same way as CNH, SDF and Argo at some point it seems currently Fendt has managed to resist assimilation. As far as the 200's and 300's series go in comparison anyway.
Plus the fact they have managed to capture some equipment exclusives such as the forage wagons and the remains of challenger.
so it remains to be seen how long AGCO can run a two stream strategy and ultimately who will win at the end of the day Fendt or Massey? Not thinking too hard but I think they are the only company with a such a clear two stream approach.
I don't suppose there's anyone on the site that could shine a little on the internal structures of AGCO perhaps they are more homogenous than it appears.
Any other AGCO fanboys?
Valtra and Massey both need to copy Fendts rear pto cover cause putting a pto shaft on the 4711 my uncle has was an utter nightmare (until I removed it which in itself is dangerous but couldn't get in with my fat hands otherwise) where as on my 313 the cover folds up and out of the way so you can actually see what your doing.
Anyone else know of any other features that should be universal at AGCO?
