On the same note we ploughed a ley out and drilled forage rye last week, and despite ploughing the worms are active all over the field.

well ploughing will not kill them all , when we came here the land was dead with ploughing all the time and liming , here some sell quick lime , think what that can do to life in the field , has taking years to get back someway right
