TIA in advance people.
Recently noticed that emails from 2 companies who send us there invoices on emails are never arriving in my inbox or even the spam box, the companies are definitely still sending them to the same address as always, they are in their sent items, they are receiving no error messages or anything. What the devil is happening to these emails?

Have you accidentally blocked them?

Could be a few things

maybe your email settings don’t like attachments

ditto if you have virus protection software that could be taking a dislike to the email and attachment, sometimes (I think) websites need to have the proper safety certificates - or something like that!)

as suggested try setting up a gmail account, or perhaps send one of the firms a direct email asking them to reply to that email with the invoice attached.

If you are using Apple Mail then very recently some incoming Apple Mail has not been shown in the All Inboxes folder, which is the default view, but does appear in the iCloud folder. This shouldn't be happening but it is. Suspect a glitch since the last update.

This is actually quite a common problem.

Many high level propriatory domains, like gmail, hotmail, mac etc have very stringent mail server acceptance criteria, anything remotely suspect can be deleted on arrival. In general high level domains like these appear to be less scrutinised and tend to be accepted by a corresponding high level propriatory domain mail server. However independent domains with the same mail server settings can find it more difficult to be delivered safely, hugely frustrating and difficult to correct for those in an IT support role!

As a pointer- First off use a service like Mailgenius to assess the deliverability of your domain emails. You will probably require an IT Professional to make any changes required to improve deliverability as it can be very technical.
