Varioterminal 10.4" repair

Hi,

Read an old thread that someone was going to fix their VarioTerminal touchscreen with the NEC NL8060BC26-30G - did that work? In a Fendt 516 S4 from 2014, could i do the same?

Never done the s4 screen so not sure if you can source one aftermarket or not. It does not look as easy as I have been in one and think they are heavily glued but could be wrong. Interested if someone has though?

The NEC NL8060BC26-30G is a no-go for a 516 S4 from 2014

Ha yea had moments like that , “ how hard can it be” then you get it open and wish you hadn’t.

Yup, almost had the old one out of the terminal when i realized the interfaces on the new one were all wrong thanks to china though, my mistanke didnt cost much
