They would normally only need one volunteer however due to lack of energy they have to have a shift system so they can have a sit down.
It's hard work killing things with ignorance, after allThey would normally only need one volunteer however due to lack of energy they have to have a shift system so they can have a sit down.
That was my exact thinking!Bet they rescue a sickly looking badger, then a few months later have to send the Tb infected cattle for slaughter
Being non-vegan isn't a protected characteristic, so it wouldn't count as unlawful discrimination.Technically, you could apply for it, announce you are meat eater, not get it, then sue them for discrimination..... Technically.
They had some cattle up at Ferne the rescue place near here and it was actually quite interesting seeing really old steers cos you never normally see them, I think they had the tallest cow in the country at one time though not when we went, they were all well cared for up there though from what I could see.
Should be a limit on what anyone can take out of a charity, say 20 or 30 grand a year

that 4 year old steer might be a 4 year old bull! hope its a jersey.Just had a look at their page, see theyve "rescued" 17 calves, they're going to be fun when theyve grown up, wont be long until they run out of room that's for certain and a 4 ye aw r old steer doesnt quite have the same cute look a baby calf has so think they'll run out of money eventually, especially when they realise it's not as easy as it looks
Was just thinking the same, how will they get on when they rescue a batch of Jersey bull calvesthat 4 year old steer might be a 4 year old bull! hope its a jersey.
hope they get on well all balls and horns! Was just thinking the same, how will they get on when they rescue a batch of Jersey bull calves
I’d like to think the badgers in Scotland don’t have tb like the cattle , and for dr duncs sake and every cattle farmer in Scotland I bloody hope not !Bet they rescue a sickly looking badger, then a few months later have to send the Tb infected cattle for slaughter
Why apply for the job? Do what the vegans do and brazenly trespass, stealing animals and filming everything as they go.Apply for job.
Covertly film poor animal treatment.
