Vegan animal sanctuary

Now this really boils my pish

Vegans have bought a local house with ten acres of boggy scrub attached, and set up a "sanctuary".

They've very successfully raised money by "crowd funding" for fencing and materials.

Now they're looking for volunteers to look after the animals they've "saved".

Meanwhile, they're knocking on the farm door asking for any spare pet lambs 🤬

Ideas on how to calm myself down before going ahead and arranging house warming delivery of a meat and dairy hamper from the supermarket?

Volunteers wanted at a local animal sanctuary

Are they allowed to advertise a job and insist person is vegan? Surely discriminatory

Rongo, Ruru and Toto are at the vets just now getting their castrations so lots of TLC coming there way when their home. Just waiting for the call to go pick them up.
But VIVA says
Castration
It is standard practice to mutilate male lambs by using a tight rubber ring, a clamp or surgery to castrate them, usually at less than a week old. Even when anaesthetic is used, castration still causes chronic and acute pain.5 Lambs are castrated to improve the taste of their meat, render them more docile for handling and reduce aggression between ‘intact’ males.

It’s a load of shite that folk can set themselves up as a charity and then fundraise to carry out their hobby.

it’s like that sketch in Viz years ago - A prolific (fictitious) fundraiser was pictured with his mbe, awarded for his selfless charity work. His list of achievements were - being sponsored to build his extension, sponsored 3weeks in the Maldives and getting sponsored to fit a new bathroom in his house.
