Tv was on this morning and an ad for becoming Vegan came on .
Beware it may boil your p!ss

Earlier there was an article on BBC news about the mental well fair in Agriculture listing the cause of it from isolation ,money worries, red tape, and others . What wasn’t mentioned was the feeling of attack from ill informed media out let’s including the BBC.

But I guess the ad wasn't on BBC!

An excellent advert. They know their target audience, and have produced an ad that strikes the right balance by being both humorous and thought provoking. For £40k I would say well done.
By comparison, remind me, what is the total value of levy we pay to the AHDB each year ? To produce what, other than a TV ad stuck in the 1950's ?

Disney themed-animals are cuddly, don't eat them.

On the other hand, while there are numerous adverts extolling the virtues of various meat "brands" no one has to advertise " eat meat" as a dietary option.

Of course, the AHDB levies go on a hell of a lot more than running an ad campaign, but they have brought out the fantastically successful 'We Eat Balanced' campaign, not that you're a fan I know. ;)

Have a listen to this weeks farmers weekly pod cast. Very interesting 15 mins towards the end of the program. Well worth a listen.
All about the plant based industry and the problems it is facing.

I’ve just replied to this on the dedicated thread.

"Sales of plant-based meat substitutes actually started falling in Aug of last year."

They're targeting the audience for Countdown on Channel 4. So that's struggling, and latent anorexics triggered, then. How can these people-hating organisations be considered charities?
