I have the pleasure next week on a local radio station!!

However as with most single issue people it is usually difficult to have a constructive debate. It should be fun though.

That will get your blood pressure rising............. I hope your ticker can take it!

I hope you mention that without livestock farming, there would be no pasture for the wintering waders to feed on. I'm not sure Vegans realise the importance of livestock in the eco system.

The Ticker is fine, but I am supposed to take it easy!! I doubt this guy would know what a wintering wader was if it bit him on the goolies!!

I still find the idea for cows to give "consent" for AI ammusing, does it have to be in writing or will a "hoof print" do? As for the arguement against AI , given the fact in "nature" with cows when their on heat , every bull available will be having a go compared to the AI inseminator who quickly puts her hand up, finds the cervix so they can unload the inseminator at just the right place, if the cow had a choice, which method would she prefer?

I explained it to a brainwashed vegan on another forum but it just went in one ear and out the other. I said when a cow comes on heat she'll stand for other cows to mount her if a bull is there she'll let him mount and that's proof enough she wants to be served just like in the wild. The poster never replied but was thanking other posts after I posted that reply.

I also explained how cows aren't human and that they'll bully a sick animal in the herd but as usual they only want to hear shock tatics that made them vegan in the first place.

A lot of them have never even thought about it. And they just tell us to 'rewild' any areas that can't grow crops.

I did an interview this morning on local radio against Joey. He was very defensive and when I asked what I should plant to feed the Vegans instead of having my pastures for sheep and cattle he refused to offer any suggestions.
Probably not surprising as when you look on most Vegan web sites you need Avocado's, Nuts, Soya etc plus any vegetables.

A piece of interest I did find in my limited research which may explain the extreme views of people on Vegan diets is that all the foodstuffs are deficient in Iodine unless it has been added in. Dairy products are a major source of iodine.

The lack of Iodine cause the disease Cretinism!!

Need I say more.

I'd say it would be impossible to have a normal debate with him because he doesn't have a clue about farming never worked a day in his life and any information he gets is vegan propaganda lies.

I found this website on an unbiased study about how the world can't go completely vegan.
https://www.google.ie/amp/s/gpfarmb...he-world-go-vegan-a-studied-viewpoint-re/amp/

Plant milk substitutes are full of sugar and other ingredients, there was a man around 10 years ago that drank a lot of plant milk substitute and started to get feminine traits like growing breasts no less.

Sounds interesting. He seems to believe farm animals are repeatedly stabbed and lowered into gas chambers rather than being stunned and rendered unconscious and killed humanely without feeling pain. Sounds better to me than being hunted down and ripped apart by another animal as you get in the rest of the animal kingdom.

The AI consent thing is fairly amusing too since cows are only served when they are bulling and wanting to be inseminated. Our AI technician has served many dopey cows while just standing there on the yard. I reckon if it was that uncomfortable/painful or they objected, I think they would run off rather than just stand there:rolleyes:

Also noticed in an above link that he seems to have a pet dog. Would be interesting to hear more about pet ownership and if pet owners are cruel for separating animals from their parents and keeping them as pets just like us evil farmers with our calves. And if it is his dog then would be very interesting to hear what he would say if he was accused of slavery for imprisoning his dog and force feeding it a vegan diet without the dogs consent:whistle:

Also I would be very intriguing to hear his views on vets on whether they are good people for helping animals or rapists for putting their arms in cows to examine them and whether they are raping a cow for instance when performing a twisted stomach surgery putting their arm inside the cow to correct the twist without the cows full consent. Hmm so many questions

His pet dog more than likely got neutered without giving consent. Imagine having your reproductive tract ripped out and never being able to have a choice to have babies and forced fed squirrel food for its entire life. Someone needs to put that to him and give him a reality check.

Was there a phone in afterwards? How did the listeners react to the debate?
