They don't have any morals. They have decided that a class of animals (farm) should be eradicated and not exist for their own selfish reasons. IMO the most important thing with any farmed animal is the quality of life it has, the fact that it's carcass is a food source means it has a genuine purpose for existing, which is more than can be said for many humans.

Who don't have any morals?

I think as long as they are killed quickly/humanely that's the key thing. We used to have cattle so I know what you mean. Mind you sheep are surprisingly curious too. It's pigs I feel a bit bad about, they are the only farm animals I find to be truly smart, the only ones where I reckon they know what's going on when they go off for slaughter. Luckily the smell of cooking bacon soon overwhelms my guilt though. :)
I bet the same pigs would scream and shout if you loaded them on a luxury coach for a day out at Blackpool. :singing:

Has Veganism become a big thing in all countries or is it just in the uk that all these ppl seem to be allowed to dictate to us all. Do they have the same suppprt in say France or Germany?

Veganism is the new religion.
It is as intolerant and narrow minded as many other faiths and potentially as dangerous when fanatical converts seek to impose their views on the unbeliever.
Veganism the new Daesh?
Since I've taken an interest in the propaganda spewed out by the vegans the thought has struck me that recent history has shown us what propaganda can do when hateful people choose to use it to spread lies and mistruths and further a hate filled agenda.

Again, personal choice no longer matters! The minority dictating to the majority and freedom to choose is removed in a flurry of social media hyped petitions. These children were not forced to work with the animals, they chose to do so. That choice is no longer open to them.[emoji35]

The one complainant is a local nutter.

The YFC near Lymington re-opened recently after being shut for fifteen years. They had a BBQ and fete games to celebrate. The same bloke who complained about the pigs turned up to protest! I’m told he was swiftly escorted from the premises.

I would think that following ‘a consultation’ the pigs will make a return. It’s the New Forest for crying out loud. Grazing livestock/hunting is the only reason it exists!

How can they get 20,000 signatures that are actually relevant? They should only accept it if it is the majority of the parents of the children at that school who are objecting.
This is why I never sign online petitions for anything as names can be lifted from one and added to another such as this. No one is going to check that everyone did genuinely sign it.

Exactly! He will have stirred up every vegan fanatic and nut case on social media to sign his petition and 99% of them will have no connection to the school.

I was delighted to see Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan make an absolute fool of him on national, breakfast tv... and she’s a vegetarian!!!

Many of the arguments levelled at farming by vegans/vegatarians/animal rights also apply to another industry to an extent.
Taken from their mothers at birth or after 2months.
Pack animals kept on their own unable to disply natuaral behavior, often been spade or have the snip, often under exercised/stimulated.
Kept indoors/cages for most of the day.
Genetic abnormalities often with health problems breed into them because they look pretty.
Exploited because we want too for our own selfish benefit, we don't need pets, pets don't need us, didn't ask to be bought and kept we do it because we want too.
How many of the above people have pets yet think the have moral high ground over farmers?
Could have spent too long thinking it over but it makes sense to me.

Took 2 Vegans on a tour round my farm last summer, I've a Organic pedigree Beef shorthorn suckler herd all grass farm . They were surprised to see cows with calves on them (because they thought all calves were removed from their mothers at birth ). Explained to them that Beef shorthorns had got down to 250 breeding females in the past & had become a vulnerable breed at one point, they hadn't even thought about there being different breeds of cow & if there was no point keeping them they'd die out.
They pointed out that it took alot of land to look after afew cows & wouldn't it be more productive growing Veg - Brilliant!
My farm is surrounded by Veg! I could point out to them the fields that the soil was like cardboard because it's been continuously been cropped , no organic matter being returned to the soil. Could also point to fields where the crops had failed because the soil has become so poor - They were shocked, one is a plant breeder for a Veg seed company so understood exactly what I was saying.
We then got into a conversation about mixed farming , which they fully understood & they asked why I wasn't growing any Veg in rotation with grassland so explained that I couldn't compete with the big growers & would need extra machinery, again they fully understood the economics of this.
They wrote me a letter thanking me for showing them round the farm & seeing the cows:)
I don't think they went away & started eating meat but certainly went away less anti farmer.
We need more farmers like you to educate the nation. Well done the point need putting out there with out being aggressive.

And he was proud of wearing Vegan Doc Martins made from the latest scourge of the earth - Plastic - Felix Rub Off is a high-shine, high-shine synthetic material with a premium feel and Cherry Red Cambridge Brush-off, ts a soft, subtle two-tone synthetic material !!

It'll come back to bite them !!

I run an open farm , if anyone asks for a visit I show them round. It's amazing what I get asked when showing people round , teachers & doctors by far the most out of touch, which is a big worry.
I would suggest we all should be inviting the public on ours farms & explaining what we are doing. Farm Sunday is a brilliant advert for farming but even better is talking to people one on one or family groups. Far to often the media show stories about agriculture without giving a full explanation, we're the ones who need to explain what we do.
