Vermin & Pigeon Control - Yorkshire

Hi,

I'm a responsible 28 year old based near Tadcaster, North Yorkshire and would be open to assist any local (Yorkshire based) farmers/ land owners with any pest control issues in the surrounding areas, free of charge.

I work full time in Executive Recruitment at Bowcliffe Hall near Bramham Park and am happy to offer some help or advice in the way of recruiting people to your business, advertising jobs etc. in return for permission to shoot on your land. Alternatively I can also offer some help on small jobs needed doing on site also in return for some shooting. (Fencing, maintenance etc.)

I am available all weekends or week nights with some notice.

In my spare time I am either shooting clays at a local club, playing live music or out walking the Dales with my two dogs.

I am fully licensed and insured through BASC and have all relevant pigeon decoying equipment. I have both a 12 gauge over and under shotgun and air rifles dependent on the requirements of the land.

I am responsible and will give great care and respect to the Land I am on and communicate openly and honestly with the Land Owner to ensure a loyal trusting relationship is in place. I am respectful and have a good morale compass.

If you have anything available or know someone who may be worth speaking with do let me know, or contact me via phone/ text on 07748325567

Hi pal i feel your pain its getting harder and harder to gain shooting permission i think the main problem is theres a lot more shooters than available land and most farms etc already have someone doing it, not to mention all the rural crime, poaching etc that goes on. I have a couple of small bits in your area which i share with a friend but we only got these because my friend went to school with the farmers son and he knows us, we have tried all around the bramham and surrounding areas and most of it is owned by the estate and controlled by the gamekeeper and only members of the shoot are allowed to control the vermin in the off season. Your best bet is to get some cards made up with your details on take your insurance knock on farmers doors be polite and hope your in the right place at the right time and be prepared to travel out of town, hope this helps
