Apologies if this has already been covered somewhere, or if it should be in the 'Brexit and Politics' section.
I've just read an online article about the speech Boris Johnson made at JCB HQ, Stafford. He was 'donated' £10,000 for the 25 minute speech obviously re. Brexit, mentioning JCB multiple times.
It then goes on to say in the article that former Brexit secretary David Davies is to be employed by JCB as an 'external advisor' of which he will be required to work 20 hours per year and will be paid £60,000...…..
Just popped into my head reading about problems with paint on newer JCB machines and complaints falling on deaf ears, then you get this sort of willy-nilly money throwing. Just seems a bit of a joke to me.
I then go on to think about all the ex service men and women who are, in the year of 2019, still living on the streets with little to help from government.
My Terex backhoe would wipe the floor with a JCB anyway
