If you remove the valve, then there will be an SAE flange, four bolt, fitting on the ram. If you get the appropriate size fitting, then you could put a 90 degree hosetail on a 3/4 hose, and then route it along the ram in place of the steel pipe, even take it right back to the next piece of steel pipe, eliminating a connection. But you may been that connection to put a clamp round it ? Difficult to say without seeing it....
