Never more relevant than now !
The same applies to using gas and crude oil resources around the UK coast , rather than buying in gas etc from other countries who ever they are.
All so basically obvious to most of us but not to those that have the power to control our destiny . !!!!
It does not bode well for the future of mankind!!!!
As long as the Sun rises and Sets the planet will go on, mankind may not.
I rest my case.

or import wood chips to burn in our power station that travel thousands of miles and cost the tax payer 6 million pounds a day in subsidies, to tick a box its green renewable energy?
